OK, well, I've been buggin' Jamie (da wife) for a year now to go  
explore the big island, rather than going skiing or something like  
that (vacation) on the mainland.  Maybe I'll push a little harder.  I  
note that there are a couple Charter schools (including a Charter  
High School) in Hilo.

(See?  It comes back around to education.)
