[luau] KDE vs. GNOME

Just found out that this problem has been reported as bug #109351, 
relating to a bug in the libXrender in FC1.  Installing XFree-lib from 
RH9 solved the problem, but (as everyone would have expected), this also 
introduced a myriad of other problems.  I feel quite relieved as I am 
sure this problem will be solved sooner or later (it might have already 
been solved but I have not kept up with any of the non-essential 
updates).  At the present time, I will be using twinhead (on KDE) 
without the xinerama option turned on.
