[luau] SuSE 7.3 Sparc64 imap and webmail problem

Aloha,

   Does anyone on the list have any experience with SuSE 7.3 Sparc64?  I am
having trouble getting imap to accept connections on my Sun Ultra
Enterprise II.  Imap is installed and running from inetd.  If I do an nmap,
I see the port.  If I telnet to to port 143 I get "Connection closed by
foreign host".  If I try using an imap mail client like mozilla, I get
connection refused.  I am using Postfix and want to get Squirrelmail and/or
phpgroupware running on this box and move mail off my x86 box.  Any
suggestions about imap?  I am using the default imap-2000c-56 package that
comes with SuSE, 64-bit 2.4.14 kernel, inetd-1.2-33, and postfix-
20010228p104.21.
