LUAU Moving Soon

LUAU name wins by a wide margin.  I'm now in the process of doing the final
conversions of the mailing list archives to Pipermail, the web page archive
viewer of Mailman.  I have archives from November 1998 through July 1999,
and January 2000 through today.  We are missing archives before 1998 and the
gap in the second half of 1999, so if anyone has it I'd really appreciate it
if you could donate it.

The new list will be hosted on the VIDEL server running at the University of
Hawaii ICS department.  Details will be posted on this list soon.

I'm thinking about a transition period during which the luau at luau.hi.net
Lyris will remain online for a month or two only to constantly remind folks
about the new list.

You folks feel that I should a mass re-subscribe on the new list with all
current list members here, or let everyone subscribe voluntarily?  All
members would receive a welcome message with a random generated password,
and URL and addresses to change their settings and post to the new list.
How would you folks feel about that?
