[luau] HDD-less Linux

I'm working on the ppp daemon.  It appears that uClibc's claim that pppd 
compiles without a patch is horribly wrong.  I've got it down to just 
one symbol unresolved that I'm working out now, but it's proving to be a 
real pain.
