loading linux on old hardware

Debian/RedHat/Caldera/Mandrake/Slackware/SuSE
all 'do' sparc.

Only Debian and SuSE stay up to date on ports IMO.

Main reason to choose Solaris over Linux is if you have
applications that need Solaris..
