I'm trying to set-up IP masquerading with my Linux
(Mandrake 8.1) machine and a Windows 95 machine. I have a Linksys Etherfast
NIC (eth0) and a USB SMC NIC (eth1). I went through the firewall guide on
mplug..set-up the rc.firewall script, disabled my firewalls, ran the internet
connection sharing wizard in Mandrake, configured the Windows 95 machine, but
it still don't work. The link/act light on the USB modem does not light up
when the cable is plugged in.

eth0:				eth1 (on windows machine):
IP: DHCP			IP: 192.168.0.10
Subnet: DHCP			Subnet: 255.255.255.0
DNS: 24.25.227.34, 36		DNS: 24.25.227.34, 36
Gateway: ?			Gateway: 192.168.0.1

				eth1 (in LinuxConf):
				IP: 192.168.0.1
				Subnet: 255.255.255.0
				Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (routing enabled)
