road runner account set up

I suppose it may be in order to try to sell more expensive premium or gold
editions of Netscape, but Netscape only supports multiple IMAP accounts. I
don't know whether RR has an IMAP server or not. If you have any server
that must be POP, you're in trouble. You can have as many IMAP accounts as
you want, but if there's a POP account, not only can you only have one POP
account, but it must be the only account in the program. What you can do,
however, is go into the profile manager thing and create a different
netscape account. Then you can set up each profile for an account. I know
that this works because it was the only way I could do this when someone
called in asking about this at work. It's useful if you have two people
each with their own account, but if both accounts are yours, I'd imagine
it'd be rather inconvenient to switch between profiles all the time. But if
security is your issue, Outlook/Outlook express can be made pretty secure if
you go into the options and turn off VBS, java, and any other scripting or
automatic execution. If you're a total security freak, nothing beats good
old pine.
