Netcraft: Web Server Operating Systems

These counts are the Netcraft estimations of percentages web server operating systems.  They removed the many duplicate virtual hosts on same servers, and counted the servers themselves.

At first these numbers may seem disheartening, but this seems to be near the IDC estimates of roughly 24% (was it?) marketshare of Linux server shipments.  Also, Apache based platforms are serving nearly three times as many domains as Microsoft IIS.
