Aloha all,
Thanks for having patience with a Linux and Router
newbie. :)
I have tried LRP and it doesn't boot. I think it's
due to the fact that I have an overdrive processor. I
installed Freesco and have it working. I had to set my
system up with the IP, netmask, Gateway and DNS info.
The IP,netmask, and gateway are from the Router. The
DNS is from my ISP. Does that sound right? I thought I
did not need to specify beyond the router? Also, I
tried sheilds up and got one port stealth the rest
were just closed using Freesco. On my 1000Mhz system
using Norton 2001 I got all stealth. Hmm? I am also
wondering if I slap a DX chip in my 486 system if I
can get LRP running? And does anyone know where I can
get one cheap?
   Currently my system is:
A 1000 mhz Win ME with a 100 mbs NIC
A 500 Mhz Win ME with a 100 mbs NIC
"Both of these need IP Netmask Gateway and DNS"
A 200 Mhz Linux box to be built.
     A 4 port Hub
A 486sx25 Overdriven to 100 as the Freesco Router
     My DSL modem

Once again thank you for your advice and patience.
                                              Ed
