I just set up a transparent web cache using these directions: http://www.unxsoft.com/TransparentProxy.txt Does anyone have any tips on optimizing the machine/squid for only running as a web cache. I'm new to squid. I won't use the box for anything else. I have done the obvious and disabled all unnecessary services. Thanks, Steve
