Hence the name "Quick and Dirty"

Oceanic (Time Warner) does not support Linux, and I
doubt they will for quite some time.

Not true. When Oceanic sets up Road Runner, it is
done on a Windows platform, so the customer downloads
the file to a floppy, then boots Linux.
