[LUAU] XF86 Config probs

Aloha everyone,
  I still don't know where I'm going wrong.  I've read everything sent to me and tried various resolution/vert/hor settings as per my monitor's manual, but still can't get Xwindows working.
  Basically, it always fails at the same point.  After everything is configured, the XF86Setup program tries to call up the server to apply the settings.  The XF86_Ma64 server never gets that call.  I get a blue screen with a window in it which states that it's attempting to call up the server, after which I get another stating that the first attempt failed and it's going to attempt another time.  After that one fails also, I get the error message in the root window stating that there was no connection possible with the server.  I have all the appropriate *.rpm files loaded, but still can't even get to where vidtune kicks in.  This is really frustrating, and if anyone has the patience to deal with me and this problem, I could really use more help.
