Aloha everyone,
I went to RedHat's FTP site and fot the following RPMs:
XFree86-100dpi-fonts-3.3.3-1
XFree86-3.3.3-1
XFree86-devel-3.3.3-1
XFree86-libs-3.3.3-1
XFree86-mach64-3.3.3-1
XFree86-SVGA-3.3.3-1
XFree86-VGA16-3.3.3-1
XFree86-XF86Setup-3.3.3-1
XFree86-xfs-3.3.3-1
XFree86-Xvfb-3.3.3-1
I had to use the '--force' option on a couple of them, but they all
installed. I ran the XF86Setup program, and it worked a lot faster this
time around. I still got the connection error, however. The following is
the output:
+++

I used ATI Rage Pro for the card this time around both ATI Rage Pro and
Xpert 98 use the XF86_Ma64 server), but still got the same result. I also
noticed the lack of a display subsection for default depth 8. How can I go
about correcting that? Also, I forgot to put in the
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config file; I can e-mail it later if anyone would
like to take a look.
Thanks in
advance,
Bud
Jones
