Aloha Jim,
Can you show us the command you are running and the output with 2 and 3 V's
like rsync -vvvaz SOURCE TARGET. The more V's you add the more verbose the
output. Usually the reason can be determined with 2 or 3 V's of output.
I think the remote server should be running as nobody because access will be
granted to the user which provides the right credentials. There's no good
reason I can think of where it should be running as root or another user.
