Join Luis Menoyo, Scientific Illustrator with the United States
Geological Survey, in his 'Show and tell' of Free tools you can use to
manage your spatial data. If you want to learn how to marry metrics with
mapping, then you need to join us for this Open Source Pizza. With tools
like GRASS, Maps can be manipulated to spatially represent data from a
SQL database. Groundwater modeling, contaminant observation, 3D
visualization, terrain visualization, satellite image processing, and
aerial photo recognition are just a few of the possible uses.
