On a somewhat controversial topic, a friend has organized a press
conference downtown today at noon to make a statement against the
electronic voting proposals.

"it's going to be between pioneer plaza and bank of
hawaii, on fort street mall, and we're going to deliver a short statement
urging hawaii's citizens to demand a paper-trail based voting system as
well as recommending all hawaii citizens boycott the hart system.

especially after the article about Hart InterCivic was posted on
www.blackboxvoting.com, we think we have a point.  (see 'Insider Blows
