The Honolulu Community College's Native Hawaiian Center will officially
open KU'E: 30 YEARS OF NATIVE HAWAIIAN RESISTANCE on SEPTEMBER 24 AT 1:30
p.m.

Photographer Ed Greevy will be on hand to discuss his exhibit.
University of Hawaii-Manoa Professor Haunani Kay Trask who has authored
many of the byline quotes that are with the photos will also be on hand.
There will also be light pupus offered and beverages offered at the
reception on the 24th at 1:30 p.m.

Ed Greevy's keen eye for identifying and capturing powerful imagery in
black and white documents the Hawaiian Movement over three decades. His
work covers the occupation of Kaho'olawe in the early 1970's to the 100th
Commemoration of the Overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1993 and
beyond.

Please come join us and view the photography that reflects much of
Hawaii's modern history.
