How about #5 with text on the bottom?  Text on the top looks a bit 
overbearing. Also, using uppercase letters makes it harder to read the dot 
(in the .org).

Also, why weren't these logos created with an open source program instead of 
Adobe Illustrator? I know it's a minor point (or is it?) but I'm just 
curious.
