To make sure people see it in case they've tuned out the flame fest threads,
I'll post this as a top level thread.

I'm unsubscribing from LUAU due to the recent flamefests.

I'll return once "JoeLinux" has either been removed or controls are in place to
prevent this sort of thing from happening.

Almost every extended flamewar on this list has been a result of his bickering
over petty things best left to private communications or that just plain don't
concern the list as a whole.

I will still be responding to questions regarding my firewall on my firewall
lists.  If you need anything else, feel free to email me at monmotha at indy.rr.com
(except JoeLinux, you are already blocked).

This list has been able to extenguish every other problem that's come up in the
past with minimal, if any, intervention from list admins.  However, every time
JoeLinux shows up, things get out of control.

I don't wish to see moderation of every post put into place; I just want some
system in place to keep people like JoeLinux from ruining the list.

For the record, I'm not a member of any local organization (I don't even live
anywhere near Hawaii), and am therefore unbiased in any of the happenings that
may go on between "rival" (notice the quotes, people) organizations.  I just
dislike my inbox filling up with all these messages not even remotely related to
Linux.
