 Guys
To be honest, I have worked so hard getting the donations and the
support and have verbally been asked by one of my contacts at the DOE who
stated that a member of the LUAU group threatened to sue the state if they
didn't allow them to go in and setup an Opensource network. I know who it
was and I am not going to embarrass them here because there is no point in
doing that. But the DOE head does not want to work with this individual or
the group he belongs to. So I do not want to cut our throats and will
withhold that info. I have and inside tract with the DOE that nobody else
has. I worked with the public schools in California and I didn't burn any
bridges like some people here have a tendency to do. That is why they are
working with us closely here.

Which site? The first two links I got when I visited the CompuUSA
Hawaii site were broken.

Forgive my ignorance, but what _is_ your effort? Could you
explain to the list what your organization does using a _new_
thread topic? I scanned the pipermail topics as far back as July
2002, but could not find information.

Thanks,
-Vince

I seem to recall several of us getting together many times to discuss and
plan the CompUSA demo we all helped with I think it is great that you
continue to work on your non=profit status, and I hope that it does in fact
qualify you for the support you now have. I am confused, though, Dan. Is
it
productive to strike out on your own when so much more can be achieved if we
work together on these objectives?

Other than you, who are the people and what is the certification? It sounds
great and all, but some more information other than that you are also trying
to help schools may allow more of us to be involved in your efforts. That
is, if you want help with your efforts.
