[luau] Squirrelmail question

I am trying to setup squirrelmail 1.4 on my SUSE 8.2 machine, but I am running 
into a problem. I am using the cyrus imap server, and I can get as far as 
logging in. But once I am logged in and squirrelmail tries to create my inbox 
and stuff, I get an error message saying that it "could not create inbox 
because permission was denied". Anyone got any ideas how I can resolve this?
