Something you will like about Red Hat's up2date tool is it automatically
takes care of dependencies.  You type "up2date PACKAGENAME" and it will
download and install PACKAGENAME (the latest version for your distro) as
well as all dependencies needed for that package.

If you get stuck with manual RPM package installation, just e-mail the
list with the error message and I'll let you know what other packages
you need.

Red Hat 8.0 will greatly improve this too, because in most cases RPM
will TELL YOU which packages are needed, by name.  According to that
article RH 8.0 should be out later this month... though I don't know if
that is accurate or not.
