[luau] Re: connecting tape drive to RH 7.2, 7.3, 8.0

After I posted I realized that I didn't state it was a
SCSI drive.

We tried that and also /dev/nst0 and /dev/qft0 and
/dev/ftape (which points to /dev/qft0).  No dice.  On
the boot of the system, we checked the
/var/log/messages file and we do see /dev/st0 being
recognized, but when we try to access it with "tar cvf
/dev/st0 /root" the system says no device.

Any other suggestions?
