A bandwidth side note. Our stores access the server through DSL. Right now
we pay for the 768/128 bandwidth option through verizon. The dsl modems are
routed to my frame, and the clients are given static ip's. The one issue
that could arise, for instance, using tftp for the root image is that there
could be a moment in the morning when 70 registers are requesting this image
close to the same time bringing the nework to a crawl. We will be upgrading
our frame speed soon so I can offer ISP access to some of our management.
In the meantime, we have bandwidth constraints. Because we have a "private"
network, telnet sessions, while not the best, have not freaked my out, yet.
