Everything says "Windows comaptible" just to assuage fears for consumers who
don't know any better.

In Mandrake and Red Hat X configuration they have "Generic Laptop Display"
with many different resolution sizes available.  In my experience these
settings have worked fine on several laptops and bigger desktop LCD displays
that I have seen.
