Ogg Vorbis finally reached version 1.0.  Ogg is a fully free audio encoding
codec capable of better sound quality than MP3, WMA or RealAudio when
compared to the same bitrate.

Ogg 1.0 reportedly has even better audio encoding than earlier beta
versions, finally surpassing WMA at low bitrates.
