Be REALLY careful with peltiers, as the sudden change in temp can do
really nasty things (like CRACK your cpu core, I reccomend a slab of
copper stuck in the middle to provide a bit of a buffer while still
having good heat transfer). Also, peltiers suffer from condenstaion if
you're not careful when you seal them (you do have to muck around with
silicone sealant if you want to be safe, I assume it's pretty humid in
Hawaii :).
Also remember, peltiers aren't magic. They just allow you to move heat
faster, and they actually generate a non-trivial amount of heat in the
process, so you'll actually end up with MORE heat to exhaust. This is
why they're usually used in overclocking rigs where faster heat transfer
is desired at the expense of greater heat generation.
