To all,
I got some interesting errors in my log file yesterday. Followed some
time later by a kernel panic message that I can't find anymore... My logs
are full of messages like these:
Jan 20 11:36:29 VALinux kernel: sym53c810a-1:3: ERROR (0:18) (3-a3-0)
(8/13) @ (script 260:0b000001).
Jan 20 11:36:29 VALinux kernel: sym53c810a-1: script cmd = 6a5e0000
Jan 20 11:36:29 VALinux kernel: sym53c810a-1: regdump: da 10 80 13 47 08
03 1e 00 03 83 a3 80 01 03 00 00 d0 cf 0f 08 ff ff ff.
Jan 20 11:36:31 VALinux kernel: sym53c810a-1-<3,*>: FAST-10 SCSI 10.0
MB/s (100 ns, offset 8)
Jan 20 11:36:31 VALinux kernel: st0: Error with sense data: [valid=0]
Info fld=0x0, Current st09:00: sense key Unit Attention
Jan 20 11:36:31 VALinux kernel: Additional sense indicates Power on,
reset, or bus device reset occurred
Can anyone tell me if these are specific to the tape drive itself, or to
the scsi controller card??
Thanks in advance,
Ben
