Which PAM module are you trying to use? We found that not all PAM modules
are created equally and we had some major headaches while trying to get our
LDAP stuff working....

While we're not currently working on other PAM modules...I'm looking VERY
hard at the Novell e-directory product since it's FULLY LDAP compatible and
it runs on linux....it's got my interest because it's extensible so that I
can add my own fields....I'm looking at playing in the very near future.
Those PAM modules are supposed to be bullet proof (yeah, I'll believe it
once I see it for myself)....however, the code that I've worked with in the
past for linux from Novell has been terrific. So we'll just have to see....

I'm out sick at the moment....but how about we try this over the phone and
then report back the solution to the list...
