14 bytes actually.  If you don't press return then the command
is pretty harmless :-)

Quite a bit more, there is something like 24 bytes+ of header per tcp
packet i think, and each character gets sent in its own packet.  Then
of course there are the acks, two.  So that's like ~675 bytes of tcp
overhead or something.
