Well, they aren't making any false claims.  An Oracle installation for Datacenter or Enterprise use is as resilient as a cockroach.  Oracle can be configured as a master database server with a "hot" standby, or as multiple master servers.  If one goes down, the others take up the slack, or the backups automatically fail-over as active servers.
