Well, that wasn't very constructive.  Yes that occurs on Road Runner
often, but it also occurs DSL for many people.  Just ask R Scott Belford
about those headaches when the POS terminals drop telnet connections
during a 30 second DSL hiccup.  I think he mentioned that this occurs
DAILY, and they notice because it screws up the cashiers every time.

One of our goals in converting his POS terminals from Win98 to Linux is
also to move to SSH.  With a modified TCP timeout we think it will
survive these daily DSL hiccups without dropping connections.  I'm not
sure if that TCP setting is possible on Win98 for telnet.
