BTW- After you chmod it you can just type the name of the script and it
should startup automatically. :)
Assuming that you have IP_TABLES installed.

You need to chmod 700 the script to be able to run it.

The last time I set it up I had to change some of the settings in Monmotha's
script.

IPTABLES="/usr/local/sbin/iptables"
this is wrong I think iptables is /sbin/iptables

Are you using Redhat V7.0 or V7.1?

how do I get a redhat machine to route my local traffic to the internet?
can anyone help?
the "reference guide" @ mplug does not say what  or how to use such script,
if anyone knows and has used the script please help me configure it I need
