Mandrake install freezes before install program loads

Have you folks checked the MD5SUM of the ISO images before burning?  That
should help to assure that your downloads were correct.

If you need to check the MD5SUM from Windows this looks like it may work.

However, the chances of an error being on the El Torito part of your ISO
download should be very slim, so I'm thinking it has to be some kind of
kernel problem.  Mandrake's update page doesn't appear to have anything
useful though...

Redhat 7.1 has the same problem for you folks?
