On Thursday we will be presenting a seminar on the Samba service, showing how your Unix machine can be integrated into a Windows network in order to save money on costly Windows NT/2000 server and client access licenses while improving your network security.

I will also give a short demonstration of a Linux Terminal Server powering a Thin Client network.

Topics to be discussed:

  a.. Installation and Configuration
  b.. Stand-alone SMB File Server
c.. Integrating into an existing Windows Domain
  d.. Samba Domain Controller
e.. Policies for Win 9x and NT/2000 clients
Linux Terminal Server

Please RSVP to warren at togami.com with subject "LINUX SEMINAR 6"
Tell me if you want pizza, and soda or juice. (Bring about $5.)
We usually get pepperoni, supreme and cheese.
