Configuring a LINKSYS LNE100TX Network Card

Hello,

I had this card before and I have to admit that it is a strange one indeed. If you don't install redhat via "expert" mode it will not work. During install redhat will ask you if you need any scsi or networking device detected. select yes!

The other way, which I haven't gotten to work will be to download an updated tulip.c file and compile it with c. "tulip.o" Well I could not get it to work so I returned the card to compusa.

IMHO, the best thing to do is return the card and get a "Intel pro100" Pci, Intel Pro 16 Isa or 3com 3c509 Isa card.

Kevin

Anyone know how to configure a Linksys LNE100TX Network card? I finally have RH 7.0 running on my system, but cannot connect to the Internet.
