[PROPOSED MEETING - ADDRESS TO FOLLOW]

I have only been to one meeting and helped a little at the expo. I am
interested in LUAU and Linux but have a few concerns. First, who is really
welcome to attend the meetings? The impression I have received from the expo
and the meeting I went to was LUAU was only for experienced linux guru's and
people that work with computers and networks as a living. My experience was
that a beginner like me was not truly welcome. I guess part of it was I was
intimidated and the subject was way over my head. From reading past comments I
don't think I am the only one that feels this way. I kind of wish there was a
LUG for beginners and another for more experienced users. I live in AMR and
Aiea sounds great but I am in the military and I am scheduled to go to Korea
for two weeks in February. I will not be able to attend the February meeting
but am interested in future meetings.

Ok.. Next. WE don't have a solid meeting place as of yet. SOOOO .. I am
suggesting February 8 1900 here at my house. Its not much but it is a start.
No need for crazy amounts of hardware lets just take the opportunity to get
together and see face to face the people who are trying to get this baby
ready to fly. ( I'll supply the Donuts . HAHAHAHAHAH) Let me know what you
think ? I live in Aiea . If this Acceptable Please Respond. Enoughs Enough.
