Thin Clients over xdmcp

Has anyone done anything like this before?  I'm building a computer lab
using obsolete computers as Linux thin clients, booting over NFS and logging
into the server via xdmcp.  These guys made a nice package to do this with
minimal effort.

Only problem I'm having is the Backspace and Delete key seem to not work.
^H works for backspace.  I checked the XKB settings in the XF86Config for
the client machines and it seems correct.  Anyone know what else I may be
doing wrong?
