Are you talking about IP masquerading, a form of SNAT that handles IP
address changes during DHCP client lease renewals?

Try this guide that I wrote on the subject, using the Linux 2.4 kernel
Netfilter/iptables.  You will need to upgrade from Red Hat 7.0 in order to
use this method.
