howzit Charles, welcome back! I too am a '94 grad (McKinley) who returned
home last March after leaving my position as a sys admin for Critical Path
(email firm) in San Francisco. couldn't find any sort of job here, so i
started a business instead.
at any rate, from what i've experienced since being back, dusty's right-
the majority of unix game in town is thru the military and feds. a few
weeks back i learned they represent the second biggest industry in the
state, spending some $8 billion in 2000 alone. not trying to sway your
opinion or anything of the sort, but i thought it was an interesting note.
dusty broke it down with the contacts, they look like a good place to
start.
good luck,
Ho'ala
