Hostname changes and the shell prompt...

Isn't that a lot just to get the correct information
into a shell prompt? I think the problem is not that
the host name is getting "nuked", but that when the
host name changes, it isn't being updated. I suggested
changing ``\u'' to ``$(hostname)''. I'm pretty sure
that will work.
