At the request of the group at the July meeting the following was drafted:

Mission - Explore computing solutions based on Linux and other open 
source  software.  Provide a public forum to share experiences and 
knowledge with others involved and interested in the open source community.

Objectives
         Hold regular public meetings
         Provide discussion and admin mailing lists
         Host periodic installfest meetings - first Tuesday of Feb, May, 
Aug and Nov.  Starting November 7, 2000.
         Provide meeting attendees with a quality open source related 
presentation
         Hold admin meeting open to public once per quarter to handle 
group  administrative discussions.
