Our groups have overlaps [which well may be true...] but that is
necessary
to keep us communicating with each other [& not forming clicks/groups of
isolationists] while balancing by the overall decision of the majority.
What
Chris thinks a flaw, is actually a good design for those whose interests
tend
mainly in one area yet still want to be clued in other areas [without
being
overloaded with information from all areas {of interest}] [as Chris may
have
noted in people who registered for the various projects... some will do
all
{more power to them}, some will drop out entirely {too bad for them :-(
, and
some will stay with the project(s) that interest them most...]
Integration,
between groups will occur at the main meetings when each project presents
their work to the whole for comments & final vote on acceptance [or
debate]
{like caucasses in Congress bring their findings, bills to the entire
Congress}.
[if it works for the US & most Linux groups, it should work for us...
;-) ].

PR stuff. Organizational stuff. Boring stuff.
SNIP
hehehe Chris, somebody gotta do it..... ;-)

nod, join the subgroups & see what they need, if your are interested [&
if
not.... unsubscribe]. Like Chris said, if you can think of other
projects
[you feel] should be more organized into a group project.... bring it up
NOW
& at the meeting....

SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE A CANDIDATE TO JOIN THE WEBPAGE
& DOCUMENTATION GROUPS......

Nod, point taken. THINGS must be explained in more detail .... But then
you
will have to read my verbose emails.... ;-)

WRONG !  I know many people who will work on [very] short term projects;
BUT
NOT LONG PERMANENT PROJECTS [unless they are being paid or gaining
sopme sort of satisfaction.....]

Here's a list of stuff that should be useful:

SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE A CANDIDATE FOR THE PROJECTS GROUP TOO!

Nod, true for very few Linux Orgs where there is a Furher and follwers...
But our group has always been led by consensus [and some quite vocal
personalities] who have helped us remained shal we say on the Right
Track?

WELL IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE A CANDIDATE FOR THE TRAINING
GROUP ALSO....

>Now, your turn. That goes for the rest of you.

JC, now its your turn to decide which group(s) [you would care to join
{& maybe even head} with your interests]; BUT ONLY YOU CAN
DECIDE THAT {& help make the group}....

>
>--jc
>
>P.S. Don't forget to put this stuff on the web page.

The only CAVEAT that each group must abide is that whatever they do,
the entire LUAU org has final say [by debating & voting what the
individual groups presents]. And if the group does not present the
material to LUAU, than it cannot represent LUAU till LUAU approves.
No leader, no strong-arming, just consensus....
