People who say this should start qualifying it.  No one has ever gotten
AIDS without somehow interacting with someone/thing that had AIDS.  Like
any virus, you must come in contact with it.  In the case of GPL, you must
_knowingly_ come in contact with it, unlike AIDS where you can get it
unknowingly.

I keep hearing that GPL forces you to do things you don't want to (like
some organic virus that exist).  But these people forget that they have to
chose to be infected by the virus before this happens.  They make it sound
like Big Brother is going around spreading the GPL virus to unsuspecting
victims.

I don't mind people not wanting to use the GPL, or even announce that they
don't like it.  But must they make the GPL out to be the Devil's
offspring?  Calling it a virus, is one such act.
