[LUAU] rrsetup?

There's two things that might be happening here.  You need to make sure the
perl script is executable.  Do a 'ls -al'. The output should look something
like:

-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root         6901 Jan 28 23:12 rrlogin

If the x's are in the first part it is executable.  If not you need to run
the command 'chmod +x rrlogin'.

The other possible cause of the problem is the location of perl.  The script
assumes perl is located at /usr/bin/perl.  On a Redhat distribution that
should be correct, but because you say you have the newest distribution of
perl installed you may have put it somewhere else.  Do a 'locate perl |
less', the perl binary should be one of the first in the list with the full
path name shown.  Make sure that matches the first line in the
rrloginscript.

I agree with Myles though.  Get the code from Glens site.  It does all the
right things to keep you connected without problems.

Subject: [LUAU] rrsetup?

Hello all, I am having a hard time installing the easy to install roadrunner
program.  I am new to linux to be gentle.  im running redhat 5.2 and I
believe I installed the MD5 module correctly.  I have the newest
distribution of perl installed.
I used the make file commands and make install per the directions.  the file
is in the /usr/local/bin/ per directions and the dhcp was setup when I
installed the O.S.  when I type rrlogin I get the command not found.  Even
if Im in the same directory as the program.  forgive my paths if there a
little off I had to reboot to NT. to send this email.
