[LUAU] Switching between window managers

Aloha everyone,
I'm attempting to figure out how to switch betwen window managers not
normally offered up by Red Hat. For example, it I wanted to switch
between WindowMaker and QVWM, I know that I need to edit and/or create
some configuration files, but I'm having a bit of a problem
understanding which files to edit/create. When I call up Xwindows, I
enter the following:

    startx -- -bpp 16

which starts up my WindowMaker window manager, as specified in my
.xinitrc file. If I were to install QVMW, Enlightenment, Blackbox,
etc... and wanted to be able to call up any one of the available window
managers, I could create several .xinitrc files, for
example: .xinitrc.wmaker, .xinitrc.bbox, .xinitrc.qvwm, but how do I go
about setting up the script needed to be able to call up the desired
window manager? This is from /etc/X11R6/bin/startx:

    userclientrc=$HOME/.xinitrc

All I have in there now is 'exec wmaker', which is the command to call
up WindowMaker. Don't get me wrong; I really like using WindowMaker,
but one of the best things about Linux, when comparing it to Micro$oft
(at least to me) is the flexibility Linux offers, to include the ability
of emulating other OSs on the monitor. With Windows, you only have one
option for the GUI, but with Xwindows, there's lots of choices.

Anyway, my question is this: as the startx command points to the
.xinitrc file, would it be possible to create several additional
.xinitrc files, one for each window manager, and if so, how would
I differentiate between each one when Xwindows is called up? If not, is
there any other way to accomplish this?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Bud Jones
