I'm not too sure.. I just woke up from a nap, but I think wpexec is the
print spooler.

We run WP5.1/2 for SCO at work and it has pretty much the same behavior.
wpexec continues to run as a daemon. It is, after all, a multi-user
program.

I don't have the problem, but I run it from the desktop (KDE).

I find it strange that the behavior is differnt if run from the desktop
and from the command line... if anybody has any insights on that.
