[LUAU] Staroffice Install Help

I am trying to install StarOffice on my mandrake 5.2 machine.
After I download so50_01.tar and tar it, I have trouble.
When I enter ./setup, I get a Staroffice graphic. However, the
gray pop-up is blank except for the button next, and the computer 
locks up solid.
Any suggestions?
