<P>For those of you who have not heard, the Red Hat Training and RHCE exam that was scheduled for September 15th to 19th 2003 has been canceled because there was not enough enrollment. Apparently they need at least 5 people to be enrolled for them to send someone out here to do the training. I contacted the Red Hat account representative responsible for the western US and he told me that as long as we have 5 people enrolled, we would be able to have the training and the RHCE exam on the 5th day. After speaking with the Rep, our potential training and test exam date can be slated for the week of November the 3rd, 2003, but we have to have at least 5 people enrolled for the classes. I can guarantee to have 3 people (1 person and two co-workers) signed up for the classes, which means that we only need two more people to sign up for classes to have the Red Hat Trainers come out. If there is anyone out there interested in taking classes, please email me so that i can send you the contact information of the Red Hat west coast Rep. If we get two more people to enroll in the class, we should also be able to save a lot of us who are already to take the exam a trip to the mainland because they should be able to enroll in the exam only portion of the test (that ones for you Warren!). I spoke with a contact in the Attorney Generals office (high tech crime unit) this afternoon, and my contact told me they may also have one person they may be willing to send. If anyone is interested in the classess or just the exam, please let me know so that i can contact the rep so that they can place the training date back on the Red Hat web site. On a final note, the class holds a max of 16 people. <BR></P></DIV>
